Summary
The world turns upside down. They’re on the edge of another war, and for a much bigger scale this time. Teyvat is divided into two camps, with Snezhnaya and the Abyss Order versus everyone else. Spies are at every corner. Mondstadt, a supposedly free city, does not recall any laugh, happy smiles or loud conversations anymore. It’s dark and gloomy, as if everyone is waiting for the first strike to blow up at their doorsteps.
“What’s so appealing about the view?” Asks a nice, low voice that makes him smile despite the answer.
“Disturbing, rather. Are you not concerned?”
He locks their eyes, finding something calming in that violet iris with a diamond-shaped pupil. Kaeya sends him a fake smile, as always, and Albedo replies with the same, as always. It’s a game they have played since both of them reached Mondstadt, pretending not to realize they originate from the very same fallen nation.
“I’m not.” An obvious lie. “We can make it out of it.”
“We?”
--or the way Albedo deals with his feelings born in the worst possible moment, towards the worst possible choice of a man, while being the worst possible candidate for a savior.

Summary
He left. They already knew he joined The Abyss Order. He was their prince. Diluc felt emptiness eating him up. Up till now he kept living like he had time, lots of time, and there never was the right moment. Kaeya was so irritating and knowing it was just a mask did not help seeing past it. Admitting his own feelings out loud was too difficult so he kept procrastinating.
Now he’s gone. Diluc stood in his room in Ordo’s dormitory. He always thought Kaeya lived in some kind of luxurious apartment but…
One small room with very few furniture, very few private things, so impersonal. His heart squeezed in pain, when he started reading the letter for the fifth time.

Summary
He hoped to say goodbye to Mr Zhongli, on private terms, not in front of Signora and Aether, but the man was nowhere to be found.
He was at the last stop on his shopping list. He wasn't sure if that was a good idea but he had to try.
"Mr Wang, do you have, by chance, a pet that can withstand cold temperatures?"
