""Good morning, boys." Dad made his way around the room, delivering side hugs and rubs on the back to each of the twins. He rested a hand on Tommy's head, ruffling the fluffy blond hair. The teen unconsciously leaned into the touch.
"Good morning." Chorused the brothers in response. The eggs on the stove sizzled, as if they were greeting him as well.
Phil gave a short rub to Tommy's back and found his way to a seat. The place he'd pat buzzed at the touch. For his brothers and father, it would relax their wings and the muscles surrounding them. But for Tommy, whose back had no wings, it was just a reminder that he was different from them."
