Summary
"D'you yield?" Izzy demands-- straining against the heave of Edward arching to try and throw him off-- even though he knows that Edward won't. Mean it'd be over, and they've gone through this enough already to know that neither of them are anywhere close to satisfied yet. At last there's not enough space between them left for any thoughts about it.
And that's what they're after, really; an excuse to keep that distance closed.
Edward laughs in his face, rough and snappy. Beneath it, his lips twist free of the sharp line of his teeth, and they drop to an easy part. Izzy isn't looking at his tongue. "Fucking hell, Iz, 'yield'? You take this shit way too seriously," Edward jeers, his eyes gleaming through the dim.
But he recognises it for what it is-- a challenge.

"Good evening!" Bonnet stepped into the light and announced before the man had a chance to speak. "A fine soirée! I am Sir Thomas Armitage and this-," he paused, turning to Izzy and patting him on the shoulder. Izzy heard Stede's mistake before the man had finished saying it; "-is my bodyfriend, Basilica Glove."
There was a long pause wherein Stede stood, glowing, unaware of any wrongs while Izzy froze beside him. The officer looked the two of them up and down.
"Your boyfriend?"
Izzy was going to explode.
