Lucifer's relationship with his father completely defines him, but what exactly did his father do to create such a tortured soul? More than just make embarrassing Dad jokes and be judgy about coffee, no doubt. For those of us who wanted a more complicated, nuanced God character, and for more hashing out of family baggage.

This is a deep dive into the "man" responsible for making Lucifer into the screwed up, complicated character we know and love. Spoiler alert: he is also screwed up and complicated! This God character is one that I developed for "God the Father," but you don't have to read that to understand this.

It wasn’t even that, unlike everyone else in the Silver City, she was always completely naked, in fact had never worn clothes in her entire life. No. It was the fact that she was wholly, utterly, unavailable to him. To touch her would mean to lose everything—his status, title, maybe even his family.
