Phil, fiddling with the wires for the amp, laughs, endlessly amused, and all of a sudden, Tommy feels like bursting into tears right there on the couch garage.

Summary
Tommy seems pale and drawn, like a person stepping up to the gallows, as he enters the booth to sing. His hands don’t shake, but it feels disingenuous of Wilbur to look at that as a ray of light in everything. The group of them watch from behind the one way glass as Tommy steps up to the microphone. His eyes fall closed and they don’t open back up.
When he sings, it’s such a wail of pain that Wilbur’s sure by the end that Tommy will drop to his knees and heave.
He doesn’t. Almost by miracle, Tommy’s standing when he's finished, and with a creased, ruined expression and a torn heart, he steps back from the mic and walks out like it was nothing.
There’s silence, then –
“Holy shit,” Schlatt says, and yeah. That just about sums it all up.
Or, Tommy is a young pop artist going on tour - he holds auditions for his touring band and ends up getting not just a band, but a family. It's just -- he doesn't seem to know that. (based around Olivia Rodrigo's album Sour)

Summary
“Wil,” Phil says suddenly, tone warning, shaking, wary, afraid. All at once, and Wilbur, numb, doesn’t heed that warning- he just pushes past the arm to look into Tommy's room.
There’s the dresser, covered in stickers. There’s the book case, empty except for comics and the rare poems that Techno’s done or stories Wilbur’s written him. There are the walls, with Tubbo’s drawings on them, and their hero posters, and some pictures that Tommy took without them knowing. There’s the closet, and the rug and the bedside table.
There’s the lamp, shattered on the ground. There's the covers and blankets, ripped from the bed and spilling out onto the floor. There’s the bed, empty. There’s no Tommy.
The numbness in Wilbur's hands and feet reach his heart.
Tommy is gone. Tommy is gone, and Wilbur is here, and the world as Wilbur knows it is ending.
or, at first, Tommy is just missing. And then the days begin resetting.

Summary
"I'm sorry,'' Tommy says, instead of answering. "I didn't mean to interrupt. I can – I can go back." His hands are shaking and he's freezing and his face hurts and he doesn't have enough money with him to go back, but he'd figure it out if Wilbur told him to.
"Where are you, Tommy?" he asks, voice gentler now, no less urgent. "I'll come and get you, no matter how far. I just want you to be okay."
"I'm at the train station. In Brighton."
or, Tommy gets hurt and kicked out and runs to the safest place he knows.
