Sapnap would pick up on it, if he were there. They’ve both agreed that Punz would go far as an actor, able to hide even the strongest nerves from almost anyone! But it’s never worked on Sapnap. He doesn’t need to see the finger twitching to just know- hell, he could pick up on it through voice calls. Through text. And he does, today, in the taxi on the way to the airport to meet up with Punz for the very first time.

George sighs contentedly. Even after almost three years, he finds it hard to say the words explicitly when they have real, heartfelt emotion behind them. But it’s okay, Dream rarely needs the words to know that he’s loved. George tilts his head back and blinks until Dream ducks down to kiss him properly, on the mouth, and the cold hand that threads into Dream’s hair is a silent I love you enough.
