On a cold and raining day, Sun Wukong cannot shake the feeling of loosing himself under the white noise of his thoughts. He reaches out for the soothing balm that as helped in the past but the rain and chill changes that comfort.
The Mayor and Macaque work to pull the other from that feeling of nothingness left when Lady Bone Demon perished, like they did once for each other.

Au Historical Romance Drama . Prince Liu Er Mihou, heir of the Spirit Macaque Clan and Forbidden Moonlit Mountain is promised to the older monkey king of Flower-Fruit Mountain, the Legendary Sun Wukong who is in need of a consort to look after his mountain in his absence.
Both are indifferent to the political partnership of both clans – fond of the other but their union was not born from love but from a need to create a strong alliance to deter the encroachment of the Demon King of Confusion to their now shared territories.
An invitation to the frozen tundra of the neighboring territory of the ruling matriarch of the Ice Demons led to the monkey demons meeting the queens general, the obedient ice demon is instructed by his Queen to tend to their needs during their stay in their kingdom – any of their needs.

The gold was just the monkey king's transformed fur.
The benefactor of the brothel and playhouse, also the local shadow weaver and witch - decides to teach the immortal monkey king a lesson the other would not soon forget. Shadow Weaver Liu Er Mihou, the odd witch that lives in the odd manor that is never in the same place twice is going to enjoy knocking down the king a peg or two.
