Summary
It's the fic where Dream didn't address some trauma (mostly about Burgess) and old wounds didn't properly heal. Because he's the Dreaming and the Dreaming is him, well, the wounds wind up also literal.
Next chapter will be in the Dreaming, where Dream's going to have to do actual addressing of his trauma in the Dreaming's landscape. While simultaneously also half keeling over. Well, at least he's got Hob, and Death, and Matthew, and Lucienne...

Morpheus closes his eyes, and sitting on a bench, draws inward, looking. Are there fault lines he's neglected? He's missing something. Something besides the time and recent memories. Expands. Facets, all seeming intact. There are no inclusions or fractures, but something hurts, glancing across his being.
