The boy leans forward a bit at the touch, pressing their foreheads together, and Nagi’s heart leaps into his throat as he looks at the boy’s soft, sleep-addled features. A little unwillingly, the white-haired boy gently takes the other’s shoulders in his hands and leans him back onto the seat. After the boy is settled, he tears off a piece of paper, scrawling a little note, and rests it on top of the boy’s hair.

He steps out, and then the dream melts around him.
A car rushes past on the road. The clouds clear, slightly, and the moon and the stars seep through the cracks and send shards of white light glimmering on the raindrops.
It’s as if he’s awoken from a deep coma.

Blood pours, slightly congealed, from the slight wrist; it must be new, Nagi hums, and he feels the red dry and stick to the skin of his neck and the worn cotton of his hood.
The cold touch is reminiscent of Isagi’s, he thinks. If he dreams hard enough, the blood is his too.

It’s a big, fluffy gray mess; soft strands of hair poke at his cheeks, his neck, and his middle bang pokes his eyes. Except, being the grandly lazy person he is, Nagi only blows it from his face, and, upon failing, frowns a bit before deciding that it wasn’t worth the effort and ignoring it.
