Summary
Allen Jeffries is a single, successful business owner and Scoutmaster who identifies as asexual. He enjoys a completely platonic relationship with the boys in his troop, based on close friendships, trust, and mutual respect.
This story begins when a mother abandons her son to Allen’s care. It tells how a 33-year-old virgin was converted into a boy lover at home. Then one boy becomes two. True love is discovered on a trip to Hawaii.
A partnership is formed, and the It’s A Boy’s Life Foundation of McGregor, Texas, is created to build a group foster home for hard-to-place boys. While CPS was already assigning foster children into his care.
There are many overlapping stories of the children who come to live at the It’s a Boys’ Life Home, including how the home is built and its foundation is flourishing, through donations and bequests. One significant one was a house in a naturist resort that became a monthly trip for the foundation. Even Allen’s old Scout troop visits the resort. And holds summer camp there, too.
