Czibor is not exactly known for being the most aware of his surroundings, especially when he’s working on an idea for a new kind of bomb or projectile, but he does promise the other Cranes that he is aware enough that he doesn’t miss anything important, and that he’s not a risk on hunts. He is still a damn Witcher, thank you.
However, he does not tell them about the times where he’s so engrossed in his thoughts that he basically falls over something in front of him.
Which is why, when he basically trips over the boy that appears from the woods by the trail he’s following, he absolutely is not shocked at all.
