Summary
Jodie knows better than to get hung up on Shuichi Akai again. She's finally learned her lesson after years of getting her heart shattered by him over and over (whether intentionally or otherwise), and she's ready to move on.
So it doesn't bother her, not at all, that her ex is dating Rei Furuya not even a month after ending things with her. In fact, Jodie is thrilled for him. He deserves to be with someone who makes him just as happy as she always wanted to. Besides, she's a grown woman and an FBI agent. She isn't the type of person to feel hurt over her ex falling in love with someone else...again.
(Maybe it would have been easier to convince herself of that if she didn't have to see the way Shu literally glowed at the mention of Furuya's name.)
