I was better at both piano and ukulele, and I had a pretty good understanding of a lot of other instruments from hanging around the musical bunch I called my friends. I could write again. I just needed inspiration."

Brendon is alone, or at least it feels that way. Ryan hates him, Spencer is avoiding everyone, and Dallon is in college. He's alone, and he's scared, and he hates it. He's not used to being this insecure and sad - it's scary.
Spencer is sad. After returning from his summer in rehab, he wants nothing more than to get through his junior year quietly. He just wishes it didn't mean avoiding his friends, the only people he considers family.
Ryan is scared. Jon is kind of mean, and he regrets what he did to Brendon, he really does. But that can't helped. Thank God for Hayley - he wouldn't be able to survive with out her.

What if her mom showed up home tonight, or tomorrow, and she got Sarah worried over nothing? It felt wrong to keep her out, but it was better than letting her in and then finding out nothing was really wrong.
Or the one where Breezy's mom is a bitch, Breezy doesn't want Sarah to worry about her, and Sarah worries anyway.
