With oh-so delicate fingers, Ghost lightly brushed the feathers with a touch that was barely there. He lightly moved his hand up and down before moving onto Gaz's wings and repeating the motion. Tears began to stream down Ghost's cheeks and his frown deepened. Finally, Ghost's hand—which had been trembling even more than it had been before—reached for Soap's wings and brushed them with a feather-light touch. His bottom lip trembled.
"... I miss my wings," Ghost croaked out. He wrapped his arms around himself.
Or, the 141 want to preen each other's wings and it brings back really bad memories for Ghost; the rest go to comfort him and they share a sweet moment together
