“Well, there’s something called ‘accidental magic’ that a lot of young wizards and witches perform, especially if they’re in distress. I’d done quite a few things like that before. Like the time I accidentally ended up on the roof of the school, or when I grew my hair back, or blew up Aunt Marge. Those were all instances of accidental magic.”
Dudley’s eyes went wide at that, and Harry could see pieces clicking into place in his mind as the strange behavior Harry had shown made more sense to him now. But it looked like something else was making sense as well.
Everything was quiet for a few moments.
“I think Petunia has magic.”

Summary
Once they got closer to the school they all changed into their robes and were getting more excited. Petunia couldn’t wait to see what the school looked like after all she’d heard and read about it.
When the train arrived, they were all buzzing with nerves and excitement. They said goodbye to the older children since the first years were gathered by Hagrid (Uncle Harry had mentioned Hagrid before and apparently his children all knew him already) and he led them to a bunch of little boats. First Petunia was amazed at the fact that the boats were moving on their own, but that amazement paled in comparison when she saw the castle as they made their way across the lake. Her mouth had dropped open as she stared. The stories from her aunt and uncle didn’t do the castle justice.

“Yes you both can go to the Quidditch World Cup,” her mum said. “We talked about it after you first mentioned the possibility and Harry let us know that he’d gotten tickets for the two of you a day or two ago. And we’ve already started talking with him and Ginny about when you and Alex can go visit as well as them visiting us.”
Petunia and Alex cheered and thanked their parents profusely. Petunia had already been looking forward to the summer holidays since she had a bunch of friends for the first time and they’d all be visiting each other, and she’d get to introduce Alex to the ones he didn’t already know. But now the two of them would be going to the Quidditch World Cup closer to the end of the holidays! According to their mum and dad, they’d also spend the last week or so of holidays at Potter Manor like last year.

There was also a good chance her family would spend a little more time at Potter Manor this year since this was Alex’s first year at Hogwarts.
He’d gotten his letter and was extremely excited to be joining Petunia and their cousins at Hogwarts. Lily was going to join them this year, too, along with some more Weasleys and apparently the children of a couple friends of Uncle Harry’s. She was curious to see who her brother was going to befriend at school and what house he’d be sorted into.

Summary
They all boarded the train and found a few compartments to sit in, Petunia helping Alex with his trunk once they were on board since he still had some issues lifting it. She sat in a compartment with Remus and Rose and then some of their other friends started showing up like Scorpius and Primrose. There was another girl who asked if she could sit with them as the train started moving, and they allowed it. She was a year younger than them and seemed nice, and quite reserved.
“I’m not sure I remember who you are, what’s your name?” Primrose asked, looking over at the black-haired girl. She looked over at them with a shyness in her brown eyes.
“I’m Eris Fernsby, in Ravenclaw. I sort of keep to myself for the most part,” she answered in a soft voice. Petunia remembered seeing her around the common room on occasion.
“You’re welcome to hang out with us if you need some friends,” Rose said, a smile on her face. “We’re in the common room and library quite a bit doing homework.”
Eris smiled at them before looking out at the passing scenery.
