Truth, or lie?
Jude thought she knew the truth, but she’s starting to doubt herself. Her mortal tongue allows her to say whatever she pleases, whether truth or lie, she’s just not so sure which one she chooses. Cardan, the tongue of the fae unable to utter a lie, sticks to his riddles.
What happens when Cardan asks Jude to tell him she hates him, and he’s unable to say the same?

Summary
Balekin has given Jude a mission. Kill Cardan Greenbriar when no one is around to see and steal his crown. What Balekin doesn’t know, however, is that Jude Duarte is not easily charmed. She forces her way into the castle to warn Cardan of his brother’s plans for him, but before she can go into detail, Cardan distracts her as he always does. This time, however, Jude is far more than willing to follow along.
