Sequel to Quarantine. Sherlock and Molly are upsetting everyone since they formed a connection (love) in the lab, they have scuttled back to their safety zones and taken on gargantuan workloads to assuage their longings. Silly, silly people - you have made the Universe very angry, and when the Universe is out of balance, it will do anything to make things right.

This is not linked to my usual universe and is stand alone, in response to the following prompt by Conchepcion on Tumblr:
"Sherlock and Molly don’t get on so much post-hlv. During one of the evenings Sherlock finally gets Molly to work with him they get exposed to some disease and put under quarantine. Ensue the two bickering it out behind locked rooms for almost a week. Someone write it."

Post Series 3 and TAB, Molly Hooper and Sherlock Holmes find themselves n a perfectly acceptable relationship. They are friends. Good friends. Snarky but good. They have shared much; many things. Some of the things they share are friends, and friends are all well and good, until they get impatient. Until they start taking matters into their own hands.

It is my version of Season Four- John and Sherlock live together in Baker Street, still solving cases and working with Molly when the need arises. Everyone is pleased to see how Sherlock and Molly have overcome their awkwardness , especially after The Slap and all those awful shootings and exilings. John notes that things couldn't be better. Oh John, when will you ever learn...

Summary
So, I saw a lovely picture on Tumblr drawn by the very talented Sherlolly29 of Sherlock kissing Molly's hand. Sherlolly29 then wondered if anyone would care to write a fic for such a picture and so I have (and I hope she likes it!) Of course, Sherlock being Sherlock would be far from satisfied to merely investigate one form of kissing, so he has (in my story) launched a (supposedly secret) investigation into seven of them. As much as he would profess it all being for science, we know better don't we?
