The Mistress clicked her tongue. “We have your records and personality assessment on file. I’m fairly confident we know what you like. Why, just last week, we made Lieutenant Colonel Yaoyorozu a very happy woman. Let us make you happy, Captain.” Her smile hooked at the corners, like a snake.

Summary
Katsuki's used to under the table jobs you don't do in broad daylight if you don't want cops or Quirk Regulation knocking on your door. Sometimes it's finding missing mates and kids classed as runaways, or taking care of thugs that need to loosen their grip on a neighborhood. Sometimes it's helping mated omegas and quirk users looking to skip town.
But when a new client brings Katsuki face to face with an old flame, he quickly realizes there was never going to be anything cut and dry about this job.

Izuku stared. He missed his cue, a hand fluttering to his throat. The backup singers crooned louder, glancing at one another.
Katsuki stepped closer. Izuku stepped back, and the ache in Katsuki’s chest twisted into something hollow. Angry.
Old bonds were a bitch like that.
