Summary
25 years ago, Beelzebub gave birth to a son, Gabriel, after a drug and alcohol-filled night on the surface, a son who she gave up to the father to raise due to the laws of Hell. However, after learning about the death of said father, the queen is forced to examine her insecurities and soon realizes that she must come to terms with her failures as a mother while trying to interact with a son who is reluctant to interact with her.
Loona, wanting to be a better friend, offers to help Bee with such a task. Slowly, however, she finds herself growing close to and falling in love with Gabriel. And she’ll need him and the rest of her friends and family to back her up after sudden changes, and the return of a monster she wishes she could forget, upend her life.
Gabriel too must grapple with his identities as a human and a demon as he tries to navigate both worlds at once, and the development of new powers only serve to further complicate matters. It doesn’t help that he’s starting to fall for the hellhound who convinced him to give his mother a chance.
With danger and hope in abundance, the coming storm will be a dangerous and rocky one. By the end, none of their lives will ever be the same once the calm returns.Series
