Summary
Virgil had been having an awful day. One thing after another. He doesn’t expect to start acting so- different. All he knows is one second he sees Patton, and the next he’s on his lap crying.
Or, Patton takes care of Virgil just like he does all his sons, and teaches him the word “regression” to put to his strange feelings.

Summary
Virgil experiences a triggered regression state due to the fear of being found out for regressing. He’s still new to the fact that his mind even behaves this way, and it’s terrifying thinking about getting made fun of. Logan spots him breaking down and gets help from a certain snake, when his normal go-to safe person is busy.
