Mikey has a noise that digs into the front of his skull from the moment he wakes up to the second he passes out drunk at night.

And the worst part is he knows he's not nearly drunk enough to be out of it, but he feels like he's going to cough up liquor and can't stand the thought of choking anything down-
Does he want to keep doing this? Following what his anxiety tells him to do? He thinks about being thirty eight or forty five. If he wants to commit to vomiting in theatre bathrooms alone until he dies.
He pulls out his phone and flips it open. Pulling a deep breath into his lungs, he holds it as he types, the clicks on the keyboard so loud in the quiet.
It's two words: mezz toilet
(it's 2006 and mikey might be married but that doesn't mean he's healed).
