Monsters had come out from the Underground a few months back and they've trickled in on your city as they fight for their legal rights amongst Humanity once more.
Politics always seemed to bring out the worst in some people, even your own co-workers, as monster hate groups started to swell within your community. You have managed to avoid them until recently where you are forced to take sides, when things begin to go south an unlikely skeleton comes to your rescue and you're soon thrown admist monsters.
With the threat of magic being banned, even criminal, you find yourself standing on the front lines with your new found friends and when things start heating up you have to find help in the most unorthodox of places.. and from the most peculiar of scientists.

Summary
The End of Mercy is the third installation of Thrown Amidst Monsters and Living with a Lich. You do not have to read the previous installations to read this fic. The first chapter is a short summary of what has happened so far, so feel free to jump in!
Life on the surface with W.D. Gaster and the gang has mellowed out over the years.
