Summary
Lucas the Riolu has always been bad with ghost noises in the night. Not to mention sudden slams on desks and Pops' booming roars and bottles shattering outside his bedroom door.
Those...those aren't so pleasant, either.

Summary
The Alolan Vulpix had never wanted any of this. He'd never wanted Mr. Nuzleaf to vanish a month ago, never to return. He'd never wanted to be left alone and overwhelmed as a group of Krokorok demanded rent money he didn't have. He'd never wanted what they'd forced upon him instead.
But who cares about what he'd wanted when all of it had been his fault?
Or: Lumine learns he's not as great at hiding it all as he thinks he is.

Lucas the Riolu can only last so long before he HAS to find out what Lumine's up to this morning without him. They've only just moved to Lively Town--how important can it really be if Lumine hadn't told him a THING about it?
...Okay. So maybe Lumine's first early-morning shift at the Cafe Connection is, in fact, pretty important.

Lucas?
I can’t…I can’t feel you anymore. It’s cold without you.
Why have you left me? What is this nightmare I find myself drowning in?
Please, don’t leave me like this.

Summary
Lumine lets his head fall back onto Lucas’ shoulder, nestling his fluffy cheek deep into the crook of his neck. It’s a long sigh Lumine lets out, long and content and blissful—but there’s a guilty lament tinging his breath, too. Lucas can almost see it waft through his every action like an ichorous, miasmic smog. He’s certain it’s that same guilt making Lumine’s smile fray at the edges, those same doubts compelling the Vulpix’s paws to wring and fidget together rather than wrap cozily around Lucas’.
It's a good thing dispelling those doubts is what Lucas does best.
(Or: Lumine thinks he's ruining their day by being too exhausted to do anything but cuddle with his boyfriend. Lucas disagrees.)

This takes place in the Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon universe but you don't need to have played the game (or know anything about it at all) to read!

Summary
“Ooo…” Lucas hums, chin propped in his paws, head tilting side to side curiously. Lumine raises his head to glance at his best friend—the Riolu’s lying on his stomach, legs lazily swaying back and forth behind him. Lumine can’t help but smile at the sight, his body relaxing, waves of warm affection wash over him like mouthfuls of hot cocoa flowing through a frigid body.
Arceus, Lucas looks so content… He’s so adorable when he’s trying to be—and even when he isn’t, really.

A collection of less-important and/or silly short stories featuring everyone's (my) favorite fluffy gay boys, Lumine the Alolan Vulpix and Lucas the Riolu!
