- don't spend a week straight listening to every Goon Show ever made. That much concentrated idiocy constitutes a health hazard.

- if you're doing that anyway, don't combine it with a pilgrimage to Laugharne. Some places cannot possibly, by any stretch of the imagination, be thought to be haunted. Laugharne is not one of those places.

- if you insist on doing both those things simultaneously, don't believe the whispers down the pub, that if you meet a ghost you're required to pass along their message. That's just a story. Nobody has to do that, particularly for the sake of a loud-mouthed poet who never knows when to shut up.

- if you're still here and writing after all that, then honestly you went looking for trouble; but you'll also have a story like nobody else has ever dreamed. Not least, because it'll be too idiotic for words.
