Loris’ voice slides through the darkness to Vi. He sounds far away, though he's only a few feet from her where he's leaning against a brick wall, watching her. “I promised a friend,”
Vi looks up from under black, greasy tangles of hair. She pinches the bridge of her nose and closes her eyes as a wave of nausea punishes her for this quick change in position. Loris has never answered this question before, though Vi hurls it at him most nights she can remember.

Vignettes taking place during the se02 timeskip. From the perspective of Vi and Caitlyn during their time apart.
The main focus is on Vi and Cait but Loris-heads will enjoy the important role the big man plays in this series. I have a theory about where he came from (not out of nowhere)! Maddie and Ambessa are there, too!

“The motion passes!” Councilor Ferros announces with unrestrained glee. The other Councilors lower their hands, one by one, awaiting someone else to take it from here. Councilors Shoola and Sevika’s hands are last to come down, Sevika’s disappearing into her fraying cloak. Shoola’s lands delicately atop the heavy table. The pointed tips of her gold-wrapped fingers tinkling metallically on the brass.
The youngest among them, Councilor Arvino, makes the order. “Sheriff,”
From the gallery, a uniformed figure steps forward. He wears the bronze badge of the office of Sheriff, a provisional title, bestowed upon him as the most senior surviving Enforcer uninjured enough to fill the role.
“Sheriff Steb,” Councilor Arvino repeats. “Would you initiate procedures to take the former Commander Caitlyn Kiramman into custody as soon as possible.” This is not a question, but a unilateral order.
