After a few more texts, voicemails, and a couple of messages to Yellow, Crys can finally make herself comfortable with her dogs and fall asleep. The only good thing about this fever is the peace and quiet she can experience for this brief moment. If only this could occur when she could breathe and not coughing ever few minutes.
She brings Yampee and Rockee Road in her arms as drowsiness takes charge. Just a few more days, that’s what Crys told herself and others, a few more days and she will be back to normal.
