Olivine's your average Roblox player playing Forsaken when she's approached with a deal- actually go into the game and mess around with some of the characters. She accepts, not knowing that she wouldn't be using her *own* body.
Shedletsky is one of the admins currently trapped in this purgatory, having to face his own demons with everyone else over and over. Nothing has changed for a year in this hell, but one round, he wakes up without control of his own body.
Why play a video game when you can go *inside* of the video game instead?

Summary
Ollie and her friends are all bored in between the rounds, even while possessing the survivors. They decide to have a movie night and watch a few youtube videos for the hell of it- and proceed to give everyone else an existential crisis, a migrane, and the best (and worst) experience of their lives.

The survivors have been infiltrated by outside forces, with no real clue as to how or why. When it comes to be Elliot's turn to be taken over, he prepares for the worst. What he gets is very different from what he expected, and becomes something much worse than anyone could have imagined.

They know the drill at this point. A deal is made, a character taken over. Kat has their own reasons to join in, though - and they're going to improve things here, no matter the cost. They'll protect them all, no matter what.(Or, a World's Worst Swordsman AU with a focus on Elliot and Kat - now with more angst. Takes itself seriously, but still a bit shitposty sometimes. Updates whenever I finish a chapter.)
