First part of my complete series
"Shayne and Courtney split up, peeking into every nook and cranny that they pass. Their orders are simple: if they recognize a target, eliminate it. If there is an obstacle getting in the way of reaching their target, eliminate it.
The echoes of slamming doors fill the empty silence. Shayne opens every closet and cabinet with almost enough force to rip the doors off of their hinges. BANG! BANG! BANG! The crew startles at every noise.
When the angry cat growl draws near, the hairs on the back of everybody’s necks rise, and they pray for their lives. Courtney is a sweetheart, but now that they are brainwashed, their killer abilities are everyone’s worst nightmare."

"Shayne wheezes laughing. “At least we’re laughing instead of hunting, am I right?!” He pokes Courtney. Her head rolls. She’s unconscious.
Shayne looks at her as he laughs, his face turning red with the force of his cackles. A part of him wonders if he should be concerned for Courtney. An ever-quieting part.
He looks around the room. Angela and Chanse are asleep as well. Tommy is hanging on by a thread, his eyes closing slowly and fluttering opening slightly again and again."

"Shayne blinks awake, his ears ringing and his throat on fire from the debris clogging his airways. He coughs as he looks around at his surroundings. Wires hang from above, some sparks fly and he flinches away from them. Broken off pieces of the set litter the ground around him, as well as chunks of walls and ceiling. Shards of glass and metal make any movement difficult, as the crew’s equipment are all shattered and broken."

When a earthquake hits Smosh Headquarters during a Beopardy shoot, the ceiling collapses and separates the contestants Courtney, Angela, and Tommy from Shayne and the rest of Smosh. Injuries occur and their air is running out. Will Smosh be able to save them?!

Amanda whips her head to Courtney, exasperated. “What are you doing?!”
“Hold on, trust me," Courtney breathes, eyes glued to the next street. The black van closes the gap, inches away–
Courtney yanks the wheel to the right while slamming the throttle.
“AHHHH WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!” Chanse cries, "I'M TOO CUTE TO GO THIS SOON!"
“HOLD ON!” Courtney orders as their surroundings spin in a blur.

Smosh manages to escape their attempted killer! Yay! Except...no they didn't. On an unrelated note, as an odd perfume leaks through the vents of their new makeshift studio, they start feeling things for each other...things they would only joke about but...now they act on...
