“Ray?” Gerard managed to say, fumbling with his words. That didn't sound right. Why did his voice sound like that? Sitting up, Gerard kept looking around in the very dim light. Normally his vague semblance of night vision did not look like this. He could see way too much. “Ray, Baby, Where-?”
His voice sounded so odd, yet so familiar as if he was used to hearing it from someone else.
Gripping a tree, Gerard hauled himself up so he could get a better look at everything in the underbrush. Ray was still nowhere to be seen, but he was sure that he was around here somewhere. Gerard needed his jacket because there was a good chance they weren't going to get out of here before sunrise.

Summary
Being in a band with a Werewolf was a little weird sometimes. It meant that they could never play under full moons, and that had been an odd conversation to have with Brian who figured out that they were hiding something from him. Gerard may have been the only one who knew Ray was a Werewolf for quite some time.
But it also meant, at least right now, that full moons meant they had to stop somewhere. It usually meant sleeping in the van, being parked on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere, and praying that they weren't trespassing on private property.
