Summary
This series picks up after Deborah leaves late-night. Bob Lipka gives her an ultimatum. “Ava is out or the show is over.” Deborah exposes Bob during her last LIVE late-night show. “I am being forced to fire someone I love who has done nothing wrong. Just to make shareholders happy. Where is the line?” A line that never existed for Deborah until Ava. “Well, for me it’s right here, right now.” Deborah heads back to Vegas, Ava stays in L.A. Ava returns for a vacation in Hawaii with Deborah that turns into a residency in Singapore. Ava watches the woman she loves spiral out of control. Deborah is in a drunk haze running from reality and making decisions out of fear.

Summary
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a quick update. Due to a personal loss, Leaving Normal Episodes 13 and 14 will be released together on Sunday, April 19th as a double episode in honor of the Hacks Season 5 premiere on April 9th. It’s surreal that we’re approaching the final season of a show that introduced us to Deborah Vance and Ava Daniels. Five years later, we’re still here, loving them even more. I’ll always be a hopeless romantic holding onto the hope that they end up together but even if that’s not how it ends. I know they’ll walk away side by side, just like those pink salt and pepper shakers. I promise to keep their story alive through my fanfiction, just as so many talented writers in this community continue to do.
I want to thank my wonderful friends on this platform who have supported me through this difficult time.
