Summary
Mitsuru Tenji’s life used to be measured in millimeters and diopters. As an optician, he lived by a simple code: everyone deserves "Ten-ni"—the perfect 2.0 vision. He never expected to be practicing his trade in the middle of a pre-industrial wasteland where the "Eye of Insight" is a bloodline trait and "vision" is usually something people die for.
Dropped into a remote, neutral trade town far from the active skirmishes of the Uchiha and Senju clans, Mitsuru doesn't try to be a hero. He just tries to be useful. Danzo Shimura is a son of a bitch, first and foremost.
That shithead coveted power so much he has been headcannoned to intentionally cause his teammate Kagami's death, in order to steal his freaky, OP eyes.
