Summary
Far above the ground, Jackson had everything he ever wanted. From his youthful aspirations, he learned as he grew, eventually becoming the man he was today.
Now enlisted in the United States Air Force as a pilot, he had accomplished his dream of flight. However, as events unfold in the shadows and nefarious entities plot in the dark, he will find more than he expected high above the clouds.
With his dream becoming his nightmare, will he survive to see another day? What will he have to lose in order to survive.
(Small notice for new/returning readers. As of June 15, I want to return to this story and fix some things. As I've been writing Endless Skies, I've learned some stuff and now know a bit more about writing than I did when I first started. I only want to go through and change some sentences here and there that don't quite make sense or remove stuff that just doesn't fit well. I'll leave a little comment in the author's note of each chapter, saying when I updated that specific chapter, but I want to focus on ES, so I'll repolish BoP as I get to it.)

Summary
With a past that was better left buried, Jackson suddenly finds himself with a choice when a mysterious letter arrives outside his door. Given an opportunity to work in an isolated mountain research array, he takes it, expecting a quiet end where he could forget the past.
But the place he finds is not a sanctuary.
As the satellite dishes remind him of what lurks among the stars, he remains unaware of the horrors that lay hidden beneath his feet. He is forced to confront the truth when everything he has ever known is put into question, and when long-forgotten secrets come to light, he finds that not everything is what it seems. He discovers exactly what it is he has to protect, but how much will it take to save them when the universe balances on the edge between salvation and oblivion.
