She didn't understand.

Kai stared at his skin, unable to look away at the scars on his arm.
The feeling of transforming into a dragon during the battle with Beatrix was stuck in his mind, torturing him on a level he himself couldn't really understand.
What if he lost a part of himself?
What if he wasn't human?
What if something disgusting was threatening to break out from beneath his skin barrier the moment he dared look away?---
Following after Dragons Rising Season 4 part 1, this one shot explores the idea of Kai fearing any sort of transformation into something monstrous.
