“Cole? You okay?” Geo’s voice immediately came out as gentle. Even the calmness of it surprised him as his heart was beyond the comprehension of ‘calm’.
Cole lifted his head, his fringe sticking to his dampening forehead.
“Oh man. You will not believe the time I just had.” Cole released a breathless chuckle.
