“What the hell did you get me into, huh?” Ian pounces on Lip.
“Yo,” Lip frowns startled as he sits up, “chill, man, what’s up?”
“He fucking took my baby girl, I’m not gonna chill!”
“Who took what?” Lip’s confusion pisses Ian off even more.
“Some dude with freaky knuckle tats and grumpy demeanor barged in here this morning, said you owed him money for the stuff,” he puts it into air quotes, “and when I said that you weren’t here and I didn’t have any money on me, he said he’d keep my kitten as collateral!”
“Shit, man...” Lip winces. “You named your cat Baby Girl?”
