"I won." Hinata whispered, lips brushing against the side of Tobio's throat.
Hinata felt Tobio shudder, then a quiet, "Yeah," escaped the setters mouth, once again. Like he didn't quite have the words to express anything more yet.
Hinata leaned back to look at Kageyama's face and was happy to see that Kageyama was already looking back, sporting a smile. Large and shaky, and the most beautiful thing in the world.
"You won." Kageyama said, looking at Shouyou. "You were amazing."

Iwaizumi sighed before taking a long drink of lukewarm beer. It was cold beer about an hour ago, but he’d spent the majority of his time sitting at this shitty bar and thinking. Thinking about Oikawa, his future, and where the hell it all went wrong. He initially decided he was going to get shit-faced until he couldn’t remember his own name, but Sawamura made him talk about his feelings instead. Disgusting.
“Yup,” he slaps the beer bottle down against the counter and rests his head in the crook of his elbow. “Tomorrow will be his last day as a Japanese citizen.”

“We’ll…we’ll talk more later, okay?” Iwa’s voice sounds thick, and Oikawa feels like he might pass out. His head is swimming, completely blindsided by this conversation.
His half-filled glass of water sits on the counter next to him and mocks him. Mocks him, because 10 minutes ago it was just a glass of water, and now it’s the glass of water that he drank while Iwaizumi ruined his life.
“Please don’t go,” Oikawa tries again, pitifully. “Iwa-chan, please.”
There’s a moment of silence, so long and tense that Oikawa is scared Iwaizumi actually hung up.
“You already left Oikawa.”
Then he does end the call.
