Summary
"I'll toast outside your wedding day
Whisper vows, I'll never say to you
'Cause it's too little, all too late."
-
Ze needs to leave. Fate has turned his life into something unpredictable- but he hopes- no, he KNOWS- that he'll be back. He has to come back. He can't see himself slipping away from Regect so easily. Not when he has so much he wants to say.
-
Regect doesn't understand why Ze is going to be gone. His doubts sneak in easily like water leaking through cracked glass. He thought he had so much time left to figure everything out- to figure HIMSELF out- but now he only has a week until Ze leaves. A week until he's left waiting again.
And yet, he's still not sure if his own truth is worth being the driving factor that keeps Ze gone- or if he would rather hold in his own pain until Ze (hopefully) returns. They both have a week before everything becomes too little and far too late.

Summary
It is very, VERY rainy. And that does not bode well for Regect, obviously.
And yet, in the midst of rain and unexpected visits from the only family he hates (has), Regect's not-so-secret secret about himself is revealed.
A good look at Ze could make up for it, though!

Summary
In the universe of blocks that Regect calls home, everything has a purpose. From the largest entity to the smallest bit of textured grass- everything is built to serve, to have a fixed function. Nothing is ever out of place.
Regect too has a function.
Fuck his 'purpose'. He just needed Ze to come back home.

aka author has no idea how to write Regect but wanted to try anyway. Zegect is implied but is only there if you squint through a spyglass
