Summary
Of course Mandy knows about Blueknife. He's legendary, the third generation of a heroic legacy turned villain, a living cautionary tale haunting the West Coast's underworld like a vengeful ghost. It's practically mythological: sent out as Kid Mecha Man, the kind of underage hero people have been pulling away from for some time, and within a year, something had happened.

Summary
Robert is not sure what he was expecting. He hasn't really had a lot of expectations since turning himself in. He's so tired. After taking out Duskwing and frantically apologizing to Sparrow--Jesus, she had been covered in blood--the thought of going down in a hail of bullets had been kind of comforting.
But Sparrow had asked him to take her away from this shit, and it's not like Robert was going to refuse the kid anything she needed, and just... he's tired. So he had taken her back to his shitty apartment and given her Beef to hold, and then gone to the police. He really had been thinking of just going down in a hail of bullets. It had been so tempting. But being alive because a brave little girl and a silly little dog don't want him to be dead will have to work.

Summary
The thing about Visi is that she's like another sister that Chad never asked for, and frankly, never wanted. He notices her sulking all through dinner, of course, but he ignores it. If looks could kill, the way she's glaring at Blueknife over his little tray of mac and cheese would have him dead and then risen as a zombie. He just ignores it, munching away. At least if he's stuck with frozen dinners, it looks like they've bought him decent ones. That's the good brand, that can go in the oven and is made with some kind of rich-people cheese. Perks of being Shroud's nephew, probably.

Summary
It's only about a month in that Mandy realizes she may have a problem. She's taking PTO, since Blazer took a blast from a terrified extraterrestrial that would have vaporized Mandy. She's sitting at home as Blazer, waiting for the worst of the aching and stiffness to wear off. If she turned back right now she probably wouldn't be able to move at all, so it's worth staying home for. And it's not like she doesn't have paperwork to catch up on, shows to binge-watch, and cleaning to do. It's a fine use of a Tuesday.
Things don't get weird until about five p.m., when she comes out of the bathroom after her shower. The shade of neighboring buildings means the apartment is already pretty dark, so she flicks on a light and just about jumps out of her skin. Blueknife is standing there in the hall like a lamp. Too still to be a living thing, and as if he's just part of the place, and has never been anywhere else.

Summary
Toxic still can't believe this. Like, he could kind of see it, sometimes. Little moments or looks, but like... it's scarier to submit than it is to dominate, and Elliot is no coward, Toxic would fight anyone who said so, but he's... cautious. And there's something kinda wounded about him, sometimes. He hasn't fully opened up about everything that went down with that prick, Astral, but it doesn't take a genius to see that it was bad. So to have him actually ask for this was a fuck of a surprise. A good one, even if Toxic could be content at Elliot's feet for the rest of his life.
"So," Toxic asks, the two of them sitting at Elliot's kitchen table, Toxic halfway down a white Monster and Elliot sipping that gross-ass herbal tea he likes so much, "how are we gonna do this?"
"I was thinking you could tie me up and stay pretty basic, I just need..." Elliot sighs, swirling his nasty, wet-hay tea in his cup for a minute. He looks up again. "Just be gentle, dammit."
And ain't that just a heartbreak and a half? Jesus. "I don't wanna hurt you. I don't think you like that like I do."
