“105 follows this family everywhere, let me tell you that much” Ted answers. “Andrey himself obviously couldn’t pick a three digit number, but something tells me his number 15 is a homage to it.”

“Is this Alina Hollander-Rozanov?” A serious male voice comes over the phone.
“If this is spam, I swear—” Alina starts, sitting up in bed.
“This is the New York City Police Department.”
Alina is awake now, fumbling for the light switch on her hotel room lamp. Her eyes water at the sudden intrusion of light but Alina doesn’t care, already stumbling out of bed to try and find her shoes.
“You were stated as the contact for Andrey Hollander-Rozanov and Christopher Hunter. If you are available, bail has been set and they can be picked up” The officer says over the phone while Alina is putting on the first pair of pants that she could grab out of her suitcase.

He’s a hockey player.
He’s rumored to be the best one since his dads.
So, he needs to be in shape for it. He needs to be prepared for the physical expectations that come with playing such a brutal sport. Especially if he’s going to play it his way, his way where he doesn’t use his body to push people around, but to move between them instead.
He needs to be skinner, but no less muscular. He needs to be lithe and yet strong enough to handle his body getting slammed into boards. He needs to be flexible while also keeping endurance to get through three periods of a hockey game, multiple times a week.
So, naturally, his diet should reflect that.

“You guys should sit” is all Alina says, her face still pinched.
Shane and Ilya are hesitant, but they sit down next to Maxim on the couch. Andrey sits too, leaving Alina alone, standing in front of them.
“Um, a month ago, I got this email from someone named Anastasia.” Alina ignores how Ilya immediately tenses. “She claimed to be my cousin, the daughter of Alexei Rozanov. Um, I didn’t believe her at first but we kept talking and I did some digging and she wasn’t lying. Andrey and I have been talking with her since, and I know, we should’ve told you but Anastasia… she told us something and we didn’t know how to tell you.”
“What is it, Alina?” Ilya spits it out, his face twisted into anger that his kids have been contacting his niece in Russia for a month and didn’t tell him.
“Your brother, Alexei, he died five years ago to dementia” Alina rushes out, not knowing any other way to say it.
