Summary
This summer had been hard on Mike Wheeler.
As in... 'Hard'.
Apart from the cloying heat that seemed to permeate his lungs and stick to every inch of his skin, he had suddenly begun to notice things about his best friend that he wasn't sure were normal.
In fact he knew they weren't.

Set in the summer of 1989 after graduation, when Mike starts looking at Will with different eyes than before... and has a very 'hard' time concentrating on anything else.
