Zoro nods imperceptibly, thoughts flickering over those memories. Being young and full of spit, eager to take a bull by the horns and cut it down. “A few times. Early in my bounty hunting career.”
“No.” The word grinds out between clenched teeth, Sanji’s jaw working. For a second, Zoro can see the other eye and the maniac fire rising in both. “You ever go hungry?”

Summary
Back in the galley, Sanji pours himself a glass of water and drinks it slowly. He imagines the cramp wrenching through Zoro’s leg, locking around the very muscles he trusts to carry him through every fight. His own calf aches in answer, an ugly pulse of sympathy that makes him want to crawl out of his skin.
Before he can root it out, the feeling has already flowered into a plan.
He sets the glass down and wipes his hands on his apron.
Something wet, then, for tomorrow. Something that'll slide past that thick skull before Zoro even notices he's swallowing it.
