Grace adores having the Doctor around, so what if he asks him to stay for a bit longer? After all, they are both two lonely old men, in desparate need of some company.

Grace is the only human in his biodome, and has been since the Doctor and Amy left him about two weeks ago. Not that he minds that much. He knows they'll come back to him eventually.
In the mean time, a certain River Song has been planet hopping, searching for her husband, and lands on Erid where the TARDIS signal is strongest.
Unfortunately, her arrival scares the absolute living daylights out of Grace, who just wanted to have a relaxing swim.
