“Hi, Dr Robby.” She greets him casually. Her half-asleep, still-drunk mind takes a while to kick in before she realises that Robby is stood in her kitchen, drinking out of her ‘lickalottapus’ mug, wearing nothing but his boxers and a guilty smile.

Summary
Dennis might not be homeless anymore thanks to Trinity selflessly giving him her spare room but he was still in desperate need of money.
Eventually, he found a job that fit into his schedule perfectly. Anytime he’s not at the hospital he’s answering phone calls for Lust Line. It was easy money really. Just moan and gasp at the right time, say something dirty when needed while also writing his assignments or studying.
It was perfect.

Summary
Robby had always made assumptions about the relationship between Dennis and his family. Mostly based on the way Dennis had imprinted on him when he first started at the Pitt, he assumed their relationship was strained. Especially the one with his dad.
But once they started dating Dennis talked more about his family and Robby realised he loved them a lot.
Despite Robby’s assumptions, it turned out that Dennis was the biggest Daddy’s boy ever.

Summary
Robby knew that Dennis was attractive, he had just the right amount of muscles, he dressed well for his body (thanks to Trinity), he had a beautiful smile, he was genuinely caring towards others, his laugh lit up a room, he was patient, he was kind, he was funny. So, yes, Robby understood Dennis was attractive, the number of nights he spent thinking about him just proved the point really.
But he was used to pushing those feelings down, hiding them behind a professional smile so nobody would know what he truly thought. He could deal with keeping his attraction a secret just fine.

Summary
Dennis started his rotation in emergency medicine tomorrow and he needed to have a good night’s sleep. Which is why he found himself in a bar a short walk from the hospital, he wasn’t going to get the rest he needed in his crappy hospital bed so he needed to find another bed for the night. Sure, it wasn’t the healthiest way of securing a decent bed but it worked for him.
He usually went older, guys his age had similar sleeping situation to him, bare mattresses and lumpy pillows. But older men meant stable, meant money. Older men meant town houses, a solid bed frame and a comfy mattress. They also knew what they were doing better which meant Dennis got to enjoy himself before his lovely sleep.

Summary
The thought hits Robby on a random Tuesday afternoon. Nothing particularly note-worthy about the day, it had been a very normal and uncharacteristically calm(ish) day at work. Dennis was supposed to be charting but instead he was joking about with Trinity and Mel. Robby was supposed to be reading the patient notes in front of him but instead he was watching Dennis’s eyes crinkle shut as his loud laugh echoed around the otherwise quiet and depressing ED.
And that’s when it hit him.
He’s in love with Dennis Whitaker.
