Summary
Almost without thinking, Will scoots closer until he's tucked comfortably against Mike’s side. Mike’s arm finds its way around him just as naturally, resting loosely across his waist.
After a while, he lets out a quiet sigh. "You know you're invading my personal space, right?”
A smile spreads across Will's face, hidden somewhere against his husband’s shoulder. “And yet you're not doing a thing to stop me."
or,
2k words of fluff of a perfectly ordinary night in the Byers-Wheeler household.

Will stares at him. “What are you doing?”
Mike shrugs innocently. “I came to see you.”
“I told you to stay on the couch.”
“I did stay there.”
“For like five minutes?”
Mike looks toward the ceiling as if trying to calculate. “Yeah. Sounds about right.”
Will sighs, already knowing this is going to be a very long night.
or,

Summary
“Thank you,” Mike murmurs.
Will’s eyes flick briefly toward his mouth before returning to his face. “For bringing the dessert?”
“Yeah, for that,” he says. “And the picnic. And making me leave the house.”
“You’re welcome.”
“And for being extremely handsome while doing all of it.”
Will lets out a quiet, embarrassed laugh and nudges Mike’s shoulder with his own. “Compliment me one more time, and I’m never stepping into the kitchen.”
or,
Mike reluctantly agrees to a picnic, only to discover that a little time away with Will might be exactly what he needed.
