Was he supposed to get Sebastian something? He never could remember. What did he do last year? He was pretty sure he helped Lottie make a card for him, which, funny enough, was exactly what Sebastian had done for him.
"Father's Day on Sunday. Okay…"
"Well, I wanted to make Daddy some pumpkin soup for dinner. He loves that! But I don't know how."

"Yes, please!" Sam exclaims, running back into the room. He doesn't stop until he's in front of his mother, hands clasped in front of him. "Please, Mommy? Please can we have a playdate?"
