eventually they end up back in the same warehouse, the argument gets personal, then mean, then way too close, and leone decides kissing bruno is preferable to strangling him.
bruno bites back.
this does not resolve the conflict.

Soren has a problem.
Technically, he has two.
Bruno Bucciarati has nice hands, a nice voice, an unfortunate habit of touching people when he talks, and apparently no understanding of the psychological damage caused by rolling up his sleeves.
Leone Abbacchio has rings, lipstick, a smoker’s rasp, and the deeply unreasonable ability to make being insulted sound attractive.
Soren is a trained mafioso. He can keep his face straight. He can do his job. He can hold an entire conversation while half his brain quietly files away material for later. Everything is completely manageable.
Then he discovers Bruno and Leone are sleeping together. Unfortunately, instead of becoming jealous, Soren’s brain takes this information, considers it carefully, and arrives at the worst possible conclusion:
Oh.
He wants both. Possibly (definitely) at the same time.
Oh he's fucked.

leone abbacchio is a police officer with several extremely reasonable professional concerns about known passione associate soren kaya.
unfortunately, these concerns include soren’s lipstick, his hands, the precise chemical architecture of his cologne, one slightly unusual pronunciation of famiglia, and eventually the turkish language as a whole.
soren notices.
soren, being a responsible adult, does absolutely nothing with this information until leone accidentally swears in turkish within earshot and reveals that he has been secretly learning soren’s first language.
this is where things become fucking stupid.
featuring: weaponized bilingualism, handcuffs that are doing far more psychological damage than physical restraint, a deeply humiliating trip to a perfumery, soren saying unspeakable things in turkish with the cadence of a bus timetable, leone going home every night to translate the harassment manually, and bruno bucciarati somewhere in naples developing a migraine without knowing why.
they cannot fuck about it, unfortunately for everyone involved.
soren is in police custody.
there are ethics.
then soren gets released.
oh no.

this is not particularly strange until soren realizes that leone knows how to tie people up a little too well, asks where he learned, and receives the incredibly unhelpful answer of “places.”
unfortunately, soren is incapable of leaving anything alone.
also, somehow, hair brushing becomes involved.
