Shiro thought there is an earthquake by how much the ground is vibrating. It is so strong that he can see the fallen leaves lift off of the ground and how the trees are shaking as well. The herder is afraid that this is how his life will end; getting swallowed by the earth with a bullet to his leg. Then he hears something, a voice, familiar and unfamiliar at the same time.
