Summary
Eddie figured Buck could use the extra care and a small pick-me up after the tough shift yesterday. They had spoken before bed last night, Buck sounded worn out from the day but otherwise fine.
Eddie was looking forward to seeing him this morning, his alpha needs to have physical eyes on Buck to settle and has felt on edge all morning. Eddie reasoned with himself it's just the high stress call yesterday coupled with how Buck took it all but once he sees him today, he is sure would settle.
Eddie is heading back to his car when he gets a call from Bobby. “Hey Cap, what's up?”
“Eddie, have you heard from Buck? Athena asked him to check in this morning and we haven't heard anything. Eddie, He's not picking up the phone.” Bobby's panic is clear and it sets Eddie and his alpha on edge.
Fuck.

The 118 go to a tough call, that sends Buck into a stress heat and for the fist time brings his milk in, Eddie more then willing to lend a helping hand.

Summary

Summary
SGD syndrome also known as Sub-gender drop syndrome is caused when an alpha is trapped in a high stress situation with panicked, angry, or pained pheromones suffocating their senses.
Their body and pheromones react accordingly to find the best way to keep them safe. Often times by temporary changing their Sub-gender to one of a lower rank. Often times beta sometimes a Omega. If nothing else bad happens within a certain time period, they will reverte back to their original gender with little to no consequences.
Yet if another dangerous situation happens that matches the previous stress and pain levels, the person will remain a Beta or Omega for the rest of their lives.
And of course Buck has never been so lucky. First was the fire truck bombing. And than was the Tsunami. An alpha at presentation and now he has to learn all the secrets of being an omega.
Doesn't help that he knows his pack isnt aware of this change. That they accepted an Alpha into the pack, not an omega. His pack mark is fadeing slowly and he knows it's killing him.
The question is, will the FireFam notice before it's too late?

Summary
During a call, Omega Buck finds himself bonding with the little girl he saves, having to rely on his scent to get her to trust him. As he takes care of her, the omega starts feeling the deep instinct of wanting to have a pup as the night goes on.
After Alpha Eddie rescues the girl's mother, he sees his mate taking care of the pup and realises that he wants to add another pup to their family as well.

“Mr Diaz, I’m so glad you’re here.” Jamerson greeted, shaking Eddie’s hand, “I won’t beat around the bush here, but the omega we have in here is in quite a state, one of the worst I’ve ever seen quite frankly.” If Doctor Jamerson was saying that then it had to be extremely bad as the man had been a heat doctor for over 40 years, “From what we’ve managed to gather it took five minutes for his heat to set in and he’s been getting progressively worse for the last 30 minutes. We had him briefly sedated as he was reacting badly to some of the tests we were having to run. Summary
When Buck agreed to move in with the guys he’d met in Peru he hadn’t realised it was an all alpha house or that they were making an active choice for it to be as such. As they’d assumed he was an alpha they didn’t see any point in mentioning it, besides Buck had fallen into a habit of wearing scent patches years ago as he couldn’t be bothered with all the ‘you don’t look like an omega’ comments he always got, nor was he secretive about wearing them, the see through patches visible as they were glossy, standing out against matt skin.
But as soon as Buck realised what was going on he came clean, knowing better than to lie about his secondary gender or lead the alphas on, because that would only spell trouble for him.
Thankfully the group had been kind enough to let him stay, even if he did get the occasional snide remark about him being their token omega and a packless one at that. But it was a small price to pay for a roof over his head.
