Spector was with Khonshu out on a night of "revenge", so the god liked to call it. Jake offered to take over for him when Marc finished with his part of the job for the night. Marc left the house around 9:00pm so Steven could sleep while he was gone. He promised he wouldn't take too long, saying he would be home at midnight, and he would get enough rest for the coming day.
