It hurts, of course. Everything hurts, from his fingertips to his lashes to the curve of his toes, skin rubbed raw from writhing on the desert sands as he mentally begs for the gods to just please finally take him.
It only takes one singular, horrible moment for Sousuke’s life to change forever.

Summary
"He's new, isn't he?" the question catches Rin by surprise. He glances over at Haru, who's sitting in the shade of the pavilion of his villa, before following the line of his vision to where his eyes settle on the group of guards switching in for patrol.
Particularly, his eyes land on Sousuke.
"What are you talking about, Haru. Sousuke's been around for years now," Rin scoffs at the traveler who just sits in the shade, though the way his normally calm and cool blue eyes begin to shimmer puts Rin on slight alert. "He just recently got promoted to the private guard, so I get to see him a lot more..."
"I want him," again, the words catch Rin by surprise, to the point where he turns around from where he's lounging to look at Haru. Rin merely narrows his eyes.
"He won't be up for it," is all that Rin replies with, going back to eating his grapes in the shade. "He's not that type of person."
"Then convince him otherwise," is what he hears, and Rin turns around at the rustle of clothing to find Haru gone, probably to see Makoto. Rin bites his lip and turns around, seeing Sousuke talk with some of the guards. He knows that what Haru asked of him was not a request.

Summary
Nagisa was a sight to see, but it was his smile that Rei coveted. The warmest, most dazzling smile Rei had ever seen. It blinded him. He wanted to be near that smile forever, if he could, and he'd been so entranced that he'd agreed to go somewhere more private. Somewhere private, although Nagisa was a stranger to him and he'd never been intimate with another human before, man or woman. At Nagisa's first gasp of pleasure, Rei knew he was in love. He couldn't explain it, and he didn't want to.
There was only one problem. His lover was a prostitute.

Haru is the last of the nomads, and as the last king as well, is traveling to the neighboring kingdom's capital city to renew an ancient alliance and renew an agreement worth more than gold. Unfortunately, things aren't what he expected, and the new king may need to be reminded of a very important lesson about what a king is supposed to be before anything else can happen.

Summary
Through vision still clouded with sleep, he could make out the brilliant azure of the sky and the gloss of inlaid wood and leather to either side. The wind howled around them, broken breeze keeping them cool despite the heat of the midday sun. Riding leathers creaked with every gentle swell, sending the hanging ornaments of the howdah swaying with musical chimes.
It was a familiar scene and one that he had come to know well over the years. Haruka had never invested in a house or owned a bed that he could call his own, but here, beneath the embroidered canopy with wares piled high at his back - this was a place that he could call home.
His gaze drifted over to the scarlet locks that had escaped the confines of their bindings to drift like ribbons in the current. Rin was moving away already, his attention caught by some matter that needed his attention. -

Summary
It didn't take long for Haruka to find himself standing in front of the slave. Looking down at him with his usual deadpan expression; it was no wonder how quickly the obviously larger male turned his glare up towards Haruka with obvious rage.
Despite the challenge in the other's narrowed eyes though, it didn't deter Haruka from making his decision and without another thought, he turned towards the merchant in question. "How much for this man?"
